Resort Policy: All wedding guests must stay at the resort.
We'd love for you to stay and celebrate a long weekend with us, but ultimately you can choose how short or long your stay will be at Finest Playa Mujeres (the resort requires a minimum of 3 nights stay).

Our dream is to have an intimate wedding with the people we love and have supported us throughout our lives and relationship. All invitees will be addressed on the Save the Dates and invitations.

Beach Semi Formal or Beach Formal wedding attire
Please dress up! It is a wedding after all.
We will be having a short beach ceremony, so choose shoes that you'd like to wear in the sand or that are easy to remove. There will be a shoe cubby at the ceremony to leave your shoes if you wish to go barefoot onto the sand. Reception will be at the Grand Palapa where there is wooded floor.
Tip for the ladies, Keep in mind that we will be on the beach and it may be windy, so short flowy dresses/skirts might keep you from enjoying your time during our wedding. Opt for long flowy dresses or jumpsuits.
Also, please DO NOT wear white/ivory/etc.
Tips for the gentlemen, avoid shorts and caps. Opt for button up and dress shoes.

Although the resort is all-inclusive, we recommend to bring $1 & $5 USD bills to tip the staff.
*Please note that some restaurants and bars at the resort require "casual elegance" attire, which means no flip flops or shorts. Men, they will not let you into those restaurants for dinner if you are wearing shorts. Finest Playa Mujeres is a luxury resort, so you will not feel like you are missing out by booking one of their standard rooms (Finest suites).
Finest Suites - The resorts standard room level. Adults and kids allowed.
Finest Club - Family club level. Adults and kids allowed. Upgraded in-room premium liquor & wine bottle selection, private pool bar, VIP toiletries, private lounge with concierge service, private beach area, Nespresso machine, daily fruit & petit fours in room, fresh flowers and sparkling wine upon arrival and more...
Excellence Club - Adults ONLY building. Same club level benefits as Finest Club, except it is for adults only.
Children are welcome at the resort, however we are having an adults only ceremony and reception. If you choose to bring your children, please travel and coordinate with a trusted loved one who can take care of your children at the resort while you join us for the ceremony and reception.
We will have other events at the resort before and after the wedding day that will also be adults only. Please plan accordingly if you wish to participate in those events as well.
